Calculate your price to Brussels Airport
Walloon Brabant is the green belt south of Brussels: Wavre, Louvain-la-Neuve, Waterloo, Nivelles, Rixensart, La Hulpe and Lasne. Many residents work in Brussels or for an international organisation and fly regularly, for business or to visit family abroad. The Waterloo area in particular is home to a large international community. Brussels Airport is the natural choice, but getting there means tackling one of the busiest stretches of the Ring.
With GateRide you simply get in at your own front door. Your driver comes to you, loads your luggage and takes you straight to the departures hall. The price is fixed in advance for your town: no pickup surcharge, no meter and nothing extra when the E411 is at a standstill at Jezus-Eik yet again.

The route: the E411 and the eastern Ring
From Wavre, Ottignies and Louvain-la-Neuve, your driver usually takes the E411 towards Brussels and then the Ring (R0) north past Overijse and Tervuren to the airport. From Waterloo, Braine-l’Alleud or Lasne, the route follows the Ring along the edge of the Sonian Forest. From Jodoigne, going via Leuven and the E40 sometimes makes more sense.
The bottlenecks are well known: the climb towards Jezus-Eik in the morning and the Ring near Waterloo. Your driver chooses the route according to the time of day; your price stays the same.
Timing and coming home
Plan to be at Brussels Airport two to three hours before departure. On weekdays, from early morning until mid-morning, commuter traffic heading into Brussels clogs the roads, so allow a generous margin. On a Sunday morning or in the middle of the night, the drive is much smoother.
When you come home, your driver waits in the arrivals hall on level 0 by the information desk, holding a GateRide sign. Add your flight number to your booking; if you are delayed, let him know by phone or WhatsApp. With ‘Book return trip’, the ride home is sorted in moments.
