One fixed price per town, no pickup surcharge

The price of your ride depends on three things: the town where you are picked up or dropped off, the airport and the direction of travel. For each combination one amount is set in advance, and it covers everything: the drive to you, your luggage, waiting time at the airport and VAT. At GateRide there is no such thing as a pickup surcharge. Whether you live next to the Brussels Ring or in a village in the Ardennes, your driver comes to you without charging for the distance he covers to reach you.

GateRide operates across Belgium: in Flanders, in Brussels and in Wallonia. The language border makes no difference. You book in English, Dutch or French, and the same person is always behind the wheel: the owner, who reviews and confirms every request himself. There is no dispatch centre passing your ride to a driver you have never met, whether you set off from Bruges, Hasselt or Namur.

Questions about prices per town

Why does the price differ between two neighbouring towns?

Fixed prices follow the distance and the usual journey time to each airport. Two villages side by side can therefore fall into different price zones, especially if one is closer to the motorway.

Do I pay more because I live somewhere remote?

You pay the fixed price for your town and nothing more. A pickup surcharge is never added, even if your driver has a long way to come to reach you.

Is there a different driver in Wallonia or Brussels?

No. Every ride, anywhere in Belgium, is driven by the owner himself. So you always know who you are travelling with.

Is the price the same for the outbound and return ride?

Not always, as the price also depends on the direction. For your town the price calculator shows both amounts, to the airport and back.
