Brussels South Charleroi Airport is in Gosselies, part of the city of Charleroi itself, right by the A54 and the E42. Low-cost airlines fly from here all over Europe. The rest of the region, from the old mining towns along the Sambre to the Centre area around La Louvière and Binche, is well connected to the airport and the rest of the country via the R3 ring road and the E42.

Charleroi Airport on your doorstep

Low-cost flights often leave early in the morning or arrive late at night, which is exactly when a fixed-price, door-to-door transfer is most useful. You choose the pickup time and your driver takes you via the R3 or the A54 straight to the departures area at Gosselies. From Fleurus, Châtelet or Courcelles you are there in no time; from Thuin or Binche it is a slightly longer drive, but the price stays as booked.

On your return, your driver waits at the arrivals exit, next to the taxi rank. Enter your flight number when booking. Free waiting time is included, but the driver does not track your flight automatically, so if you are delayed, just send a WhatsApp message or give him a call.

To Brussels, Liège and beyond

For long-haul destinations or a flight with a traditional airline, head for Brussels Airport (Zaventem). Your driver takes the A54 to Nivelles, then the E19 to the Brussels Ring, going round whichever side is flowing better. From La Louvière, Manage or Seneffe you join the E19 more directly. The approaches to Brussels fill up fast in the morning rush, so allow plenty of time when you choose your pickup.

Liège Airport at Bierset is reached via the E42 past Namur, without crossing Brussels. And if your flight leaves from Eindhoven, Schiphol, Düsseldorf or Cologne Bonn, that is possible too: the price table shows the fare from Charleroi and the Centre to each airport.

A driver, not a call centre

Where does the driver wait at Charleroi Airport?

At the arrivals exit, next to the taxi rank. Choose a pickup time about 45 minutes after landing for a Schengen flight, or an hour for flights from outside Schengen.

My flight leaves at dawn. When should I be picked up?

You set the time yourself, even in the middle of the night. Aim to be at the airport two to three hours before departure and add the travel time shown in the price table.
