Calculate your price to Brussels South Charleroi Airport
Brussels South Charleroi Airport is popular with Antwerp travellers flying low-cost to Spain, Italy or Morocco. The downside is that it lies on the far side of Brussels, and many flights leave so early that no train or shuttle bus can get you there in time. Driving yourself means being behind the wheel in the middle of the night, then paying for parking when you get back.
With GateRide you get in at home, in Merksem, Hoboken, Kontich or Brasschaat, and can even catch up on sleep along the way. The price is fixed in advance per town, with no pickup surcharge and nothing extra for luggage or for a ride in the small hours.

The route: right round Brussels to Gosselies
Your driver takes the E19 south past Mechelen to the Brussels Ring (R0). Depending on traffic, he goes round the east or west side of the capital, then follows the E19 towards Nivelles. There the A54 branches off to Charleroi; the airport lies on the north side of the city, at Gosselies. Beyond the Ring you enter Wallonia and the road signs switch to French, but that is your driver’s concern, not yours.
Timing: leave at night, clear Brussels before the rush
Because it is a long drive, Charleroi is the airport with the earliest pickups. The upside of leaving in the dead of night is that the Brussels Ring is practically empty. If you fly later in the day, the morning rush around Brussels is the main thing to watch: choose a pickup time that keeps you out of the thick of it.
Plan to be at the airport two to three hours before departure, especially with low-cost airlines, whose check-in desks close strictly on time. You decide when your driver rings the bell.
The return trip: pickup by the taxi rank
On arrival your driver waits for you at the exit of the arrivals hall, next to the taxi rank. Enter your flight number and choose a pickup time after landing; waiting time is included in the price. Many flights land late in the evening, which is exactly when a ride to your own front door in Antwerp is worth its weight in gold. If you are delayed, send a WhatsApp message or call, as your driver does not track flights automatically.
