Between Brussels and Charleroi: two airports within easy reach
Walloon Brabant sits neatly in the middle. For Brussels Airport (Zaventem), the route from Wavre and Louvain-la-Neuve follows the E411 to the Léonard interchange and then the Ring to Zaventem; from Waterloo and Braine-l’Alleud it runs via the Ring or the N5. Around Léonard and Groenendaal traffic often grinds to a halt in the morning rush, so allow some margin when you choose your pickup time.
For the south and west of the province, Brussels South Charleroi Airport is often closer than Zaventem. From Nivelles and Genappe the motorway gets you to Charleroi quickly; from Wavre the route follows the N25. For the east of the province, around Jodoigne and Hélécine, Liège is also an option via the E40. Eindhoven, Schiphol, Düsseldorf and Cologne Bonn are available too. The price table on this page shows the fixed fare from your town to every airport.
