Airport taxi in the Waasland and Dender region

From the vast market square in Sint-Niklaas to the banks of the Dender in Aalst and Ninove: your driver picks you up at home and takes you to the airport for one fixed price.

The Waasland and the Dender valley lie between three cities: Antwerp, Ghent and Brussels. Handy for work, less so for getting to an airport. From Temse, Zele or Hamme, you first have to get to a station, often change trains, and for a 6 am flight you end up on the platform in the middle of the night. Leaving your car in an airport car park, meanwhile, soon adds up for a week in the sun.

With GateRide, you simply get in at your front door. Your driver comes to you, loads your luggage and drops you at the departures hall, for a price fixed in advance for your town. Stuck in traffic on the E17 or at the Kennedy Tunnel? You do not pay a cent more. No meter, no pickup surcharge, no extra charge for luggage – and you pay in cash on the day of the ride.

Two sides of one region: via Antwerp or via Brussels

In the Waasland, around Sint-Niklaas, Beveren and Lokeren, the quickest way to Brussels Airport usually follows the E17 towards Antwerp and then the E19 to Brussels. From Temse and Hamme, you can also cross the Scheldt bridge to Bornem and join the A12. Because the Antwerp ring road often clogs up at rush hour, your driver picks whichever route is flowing best at the time.

In the Dender valley, Brussels is closer. From Aalst and Ninove, you reach the Ring and Zaventem via the E40 or the main roads. Dendermonde and Zele sit in between: depending on the time of day, the route runs via Aalst or via the A12. For you, it makes no difference: the price per town is fixed, whichever route is taken.

Schiphol and Eindhoven are closer than you think

From the Waasland in particular, the Dutch airports are a serious option. Via Antwerp and the E19 you reach the border quickly, and for some scheduled routes and holiday destinations the fares from Schiphol or Eindhoven are more attractive. Charleroi, Liège, Düsseldorf and Cologne Bonn are possible too.

The price table on this page shows the fixed fare from your town to each airport. That way you can factor in the ride when you compare flight prices, rather than getting an unpleasant surprise afterwards.
