Book your ride to Eindhoven Airport
Eindhoven Airport is a compact airport on the western edge of Eindhoven, with a wide choice of city breaks and sunny destinations served by low-cost airlines and holiday flights. For Belgians in the north of Antwerp province and in Limburg it is often the nearest airport: you get there without tackling the Brussels Ring or the Antwerp tunnels. The snag is public transport: with no direct train from Belgium, it means a long detour.
With GateRide you simply get in the car at your front door. Your driver, the owner himself, loads your luggage and takes you straight to the terminal. The price for your town is fixed in advance, including the drive to you, luggage and VAT. No pickup surcharge, no meter and no extra charge for crossing the border. You pay in cash on the day.

Fixed price per ride, not per person. VAT, luggage and pickup waiting time included. The calculator shows the exact price for your town. Drive times are estimates in free-flowing traffic, rounded to 5 minutes.
The route: straight across the border
From Antwerp and the western Kempen your driver usually follows the E34, which becomes the A67 towards Eindhoven once you cross into the Netherlands. From Turnhout, Arendonk or Retie you soon join the same road. From Limburg the route often runs along the N74 past Houthalen and Pelt towards Valkenswaard, or via the E314 and the A2 if you live in the south of the province.
That way you avoid most of the congestion around Brussels and Antwerp, although traffic around Eindhoven can also build up during the morning rush. Your driver allows for that when planning your pickup.
Drop-off and pickup at a compact terminal
Because Eindhoven Airport is easy to find your way around, you are at check-in almost as soon as you step out of the car. The usual rule still applies: arrive two to three hours before departure, as the airport gets busy in the holidays and low-cost airlines close the gate on time. Choose your pickup time at home by adding the travel time from the price table.
Coming back? Book a ride ‘From the airport’ with your flight number and choose a pickup time about 45 minutes after landing for a Schengen flight, or about an hour from outside Schengen. Free waiting time is included. Your driver does not track your flight automatically, so if you are delayed, send him a WhatsApp message or give him a call.
Why not just drive yourself?
You could, of course, but then your car sits in a car park in the Netherlands for a week or more, and after a late landing you still have to drive home. By train, getting to Eindhoven from Belgium is a puzzle of connections with a bus at the end. A fixed door-to-door price takes all that hassle away. Travelling as a family? Child seats are free while available, and the price is per ride, not per person.
Who is Eindhoven the best choice for?
Eindhoven makes most sense if you live in the Kempen or northern Limburg: around Turnhout, Mol, Geel, Lommel, Pelt, Hamont-Achel, Bree or Maaseik it is often closer than Brussels Airport. Many travellers from Antwerp, Hasselt and Genk also choose Eindhoven when the destination or the fare is better there. Live further away, in Ghent or Brussels for example? It is a longer drive, but that is no problem: your driver operates throughout Belgium and comes to you.
